I have experience with all of these resources and I only recommend them because they have helped me in my business and I believe they could help you too. Please let me know if you have any questions!
GoDaddy Bookkeeping This is actually a more recent purchase, but I wish that it was one of the first things I got after I started working with clients. Mostly, for the estimated tax payments and overall keeping track of expenses with taxes.
Hosting Throughout the years designing websites for clients, I've worked with a lot of different hosting companies. Especially, the most popular three: Bluehost, GoDaddy and Hostgator. They're all about the same, honestly. I went with Hostgator when I first started and have been with them 4-5 years now.
Domains I purchase all of my domains through Namecheap. Always google: "Namecheap coupon codes" before purchasing!
Google Drive I use Google docs, spreadsheets, forms for EVERYTHING.
ThriveLeads I use this for sign up boxes. The design is clean modern and easy to set-up. There's also a great dashboard where you can see what sign up boxes are converting well.
Shareaholic (free) Share buttons on blog posts (or pages if you want).
Tweetily (free) Automatically sends tweets of your past blog posts.
Contact form 7 (free) You can customize contact forms on pages.
Sumo Me (free) I use the free version for a pin it button on images and for the heat + click maps. You can also use this for highlight and tweet feature, scrolling trigger box and notification / sign up bar at the top of your page.
Click to Tweet (free) Embed click to tweet in posts / pages.
Ultimate Shortcodes (free) There's soooooo many options!
Testimonials Plug-in Clean and easy to set-up testimonials.
Pretty Link Lite (free) Instead of using the bit.ly or whatever, clean it up and use your URL! Also nice to easily track what links get clicked.
It's so helpful to know where you can get non-tacky stock photos for your website, blogs and social media graphics. Here are my favorites
Scheduling and whatnot.
Trello (free) To-do list and organization on crack. Actually, "sticky notes on steroids" is in their copy, haha.
Occasionally I read a one that really shifts my mindset and how I do things.
Printing I use moo.com for everything, great quality!
DIY Design (my course!) Step by step guide teaching you how to design a logo.
